Cargo Panda Bike: three wheels and electric motor for maximum versatility

It is developed entirely in Italy and produced in Veneto. It’s called Panda Bike and it’s a three-wheeled “cargo” that can be configured for the transport of people or things or for promotional and advertising purposes. Customizable in appearance and equipment, this solution is equipped with an electric motor and rechargeable battery, thus offering all the advantages of pedal assistance.

The basic features include Shimano drum brakes, VQ rear brake, parking brake, Shimano 6V gearbox, steel frame in black or metallic silver as standard (any other color is available on request), 20-inch front wheel and 26” rear wheel, front body in honey-colored painted marine plywood with integrated handles, angular metal brackets painted in the same color as the frame, double anti-theft keys and integrated light. From an electrical point of view, it has a 250W / 36V Promovec rear motor, a removable 11Ah lithium battery with LG cells and a backlit LCD display.

Panda Bike can be customized with personal images and distinctive signs or with logos and advertising of your business. The box is equipped with a waterproof cover, which protects people or objects from the cold and rain. The goal is to allow the transport of children, food shopping, pets, plants, tools and goods of considerable size that are difficult to transport with a traditional bike.

Developed by the Italica company of Treviso and completely adaptable to the needs of each individual customer, the Panda Bike cargo has already been designed for several specific tasks. The catalog offers for example a kit for transporting up to 4 children that includes side supports with integrated handles on the wood, benches, belts, cushion with padding and integrated headrest.

Among the different versions, Italica offers the one for the transport of pets, the one equipped for the management of artisanal ice cream (up to 6 flavors, 7 kg tubs, autonomy of refrigeration up to 4 hours), the Stand By Me cargo bike suitable for info-points or to create a real walking kiosk, a solution for the transport of people with motor disabilities that has padded and tailored seat and backrest with front opening to facilitate access, as well as the cargo bike with the box insulated to maintain a constant internal temperature.
