Air purification is a topic that this year has forcefully become part of the discussions related to how to protect the health of guests in the best possible way. In closed environments, such as mobile homes and common facilities, pollutants, invisible to the human eye, accumulate affecting the quality of the air you breathe. The latter is affected by multiple factors, including external pollution, the materials used for construction and furnishings, the presence of people and their activities and the cleaning operations of the premises.
ECA Technology from Italy, which offers cutting-edge technological solutions for the tourism sector, has recently expanded its line of e·puro devices, studied and designed to improve air quality in indoor environments. These sterilizers take advantage of a sophisticated detection system and constantly communicate the air pollution index, activating to suck air polluted by formaldehyde, bacteria, viruses, pollen, allergens and other agents and then introduce it purified into the rooms.
Among the purification technologies and filtering systems used to achieve the goal are glass fiber Hepa filters to remove up to 99.95% of particles up to 0.3 microns in size, activated carbon filters to remove formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), UVC lamps (253.7 Nm) that sterilize the air by eliminating bacteria, molds and spores present in the environment and plasma generators that release ions equal to 5×106 pcs/cm³.
There are three e·puro models available: the largest is designed for common areas such as reception, dining areas and leisure areas, the intermediate one is particularly suitable for smaller rooms (maybe equipped as a meeting room), while the smallest is designed to adapt perfectly to the needs of mobile homes.
