The CMT in Stuttgart opened with considerable success. In the first weekend, the event dedicated to caravanning and tourism saw about 80,000 visitors interested in the 10 pavilions of the German structure. “An excellent start to this year’s Stuttgart Holiday Fair and for our exhibitors,” said Roland Bleinroth, Managing Director of Messe Stuttgart. “The atmosphere is overwhelming. Not only in the tourist area, but also in the camping and caravanning halls”.
The event will remain open to the public until January 22, with opening hours from 10:00 to 18:00 and the possibility of registering your entry from 9:00.
The exhibition is complemented by special exhibition areas, such as Fahrrad- und Wander-Reisen (cycling and hiking holidays), Golf- und Wellness-Reisen (golf and wellness holidays), and Kreuzfahrt- und Schiffs-Reisen(cruises and ship trips). Fahrrad- und Wander-Reisen) extends over three days for the first time and includes both the first weekend of CMT and the Monday (January 14 to 16). In the caravanning section, spread over 7 halls, visitors will find around 1,200 vehicles on display from all well-known brands and manufacturers.
“The atmosphere in our outdoor hall is great. Visitors are in lively exchange with exhibitors and get advice on the current models and travel offers. Everyone is completely satisfied,” said Guido von Vacano, Member of the Management Board at Messe Stuttgart. The cycling course was well received too: In the first two days of the fair, almost a thousand test rides were counted in the specially designed area.
