ACSI Awards 2022 honoured the best campsites in Croatia and Slovenia

Camping Business had the pleasure of attending ACSI Award 2022 in Croatia. The event was held in Novi Vinodolski on the 19th of May 2022 with many guests. This was the first year that campsite specialist ACSI hosted the ACSI Awards: the first edition had no fewer than 50,000 public votes. This event is already one of the most prestigious prizes in the European world of camping. ‘Winning an ACSI Award demonstrates that a campsite guarantees an unforgettable holiday. After all, it is the campers themselves that chose the winners,’ explains Ramon Van Reine, CEO of ACSI. On the ACSI websites and apps, visitors will now easily see that they are looking at an award winning campsite. ‘There are extra filter options and special icons telling the visitor,’ he explains.

In Croatia, Camping Valkanela was chosen as the best campsite in the country. The other Croatian winners were:

In Slovenia, Camping Bled was chosen as the best campsite in the country. ‘Beautifully situated at the famous Lake Bled in an environment where you can hike, mountain bike, raft and climb’, states Van Reine. Just like the other winners, the campsite receives a stylish ACSI Award and a certificate. Van Reine presented the awards himself at a ceremony held at the beautiful Bled Castle.
