2023 opens under the best auspices for Campings.com. Through the social network LinkedIn, the French company has announced that bookings have increased by 40% compared to 2022 and that it has been recognized as worthy of being included in the La French Tech 120 list. The company has emphasized that at the moment this growth is driven by the low season. Indeed, his analyzes reveal that there is a strong concern among the French linked to the deterioration of purchasing power, and therefore they will wait until the last moment to book their summer holidays.
All this does not affect the desire for outdoor holidays. In fact, camping remains one of the most popular options (72%). According to the survey conducted by Campings.com, the destination France will remain the favorite for over 70% of those interviewed. The departments in which reservations have been concentrated to date are the Vendée, Pyrénées-Orientales, Hérault, Charente Maritime, and Morbihan.

But the good news for the company doesn’t end with the numbers. For the first time, Campings.com has entered the La French Tech 120 ranking, which lists the 120 French startups with the greatest growth potential. Jérôme Mercier, CEO of the company, was thus invited by the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, to attend the Elysée at the evening which formalized the recognition.
“It’s an immense joy to see Campings.com enter the FT120 for the first time,” Mercier wrote. “I’m super proud of this selection, which highlights the work of the Campings.com teams at the service of our hosting partners, underlines our inclusive and sustainable growth and echoes our development ambitions in Europe”.
