The 17th Croatian Camping Congress opens today. This important annual meeting of the outdoor holiday industry takes place at Hotel Olympia in Vodice and will close on Thursday November 16th, 2023. The event is considered an unmissable event for campsite owners and representatives from both Croatia and abroad, as well as for public institutions and Croatian economic and commercial associations. Furthermore, it is also open to manufacturers and suppliers of camping equipment and services and to enthusiasts in the sector.
Organized by the Croatian Camping Association (CCA), the congress sees Camping Business as the official media partner, obviously present at the event. The program includes a series of conferences and round tables focusing on the challenges and opportunities that characterize the camping sector. Topics such as artificial intelligence, the impact of climate change, the design of flexible and innovative housing and employment and legislative aspects will be discussed in these days with the contribution of sector experts.
Among the roundtables, topics such as the development of campsites in the Mediterranean, the impact of artificial intelligence and virtual reality on tourism employment of the future and strategies for markets such as Poland and the Czech Republic stand out. The conferences will address topics such as the Croatian tourism law, the new ADAC classification with price trends and new markets, artificial intelligence in campsites, climate change, and many others.
On the occasion of the congress, important awards will be awarded to the best campsites. The exhibition area is equally interesting, with the presence of Croatian and foreign manufacturers of mobile homes, glamping tents, camping equipment and related services. This trade fair part of the congress offers a broad overview of products and servicesrelated to the outdoor sector, providing inspiration and ideas to improve offers and stay abreast of innovations and new market trends.
