European Camping Group (ECG), the European leader in outdoor hospitality, has announced the appointment of four women to its Executive Committee. From the Vacanceselect team – a brand acquired last February – Flora Espinosajoins as the Group’s Legal Director; Karima Abouhafs becomes the Director of Human Resources for Southern Europe, and Justine Agtereek assumes the role of Director of Human Resources for Northern Europe. Additionally, Maud Fredrix is appointed as the CEO of the Roan brand.
With these new additions, the Executive Committee now represents all brands, nationalities, and services within the group, a source of pride for the holding’s leadership. The appointments come at a time when the initial phase of integrating Vacanceselect into ECG is nearing completion. “We completed the acquisition of Vacanceselect 9 months ago, and during this period, we have appreciated the solid skills, responsiveness, business acumen, and commitment of Flora, Karima, and Justine. Maud’s promotion is a logical extension of the success of the Roan team,” stated Alain Calmé, Group President.
Philippe de Trémiolles, CEO of ECG, also positively commented on the inclusion of the four colleagues in the Executive Committee, emphasizing the strategic role of Human Resources and Legal Affairs in the organization of the rapidly expanding group. He expressed confidence that “Flora, Justine, and Karima will make a significant contribution during this period of rapid change,” and noted that Maud “has been at the center of the success of the Roan family, engaged with ECG since 2016“.
The French group includes brands such as Homair, Marvilla Parks, Roan, Tohapi, Eurocamp, Camping Vision, and Vacanceselect, offering a wide range of 4- and 5-star campsites in over 400 destinations across Europe.
