At Salon Sett in Montpellier, a panel of industry experts awarded the prestigious Sett d’Or 2024 prizes to five companies distinguished by their innovation. In partnership with Décisions HPA magazine, these awards celebrate cutting-edge solutions that effectively address the challenges of outdoor hospitality and catering in a rapidly evolving sector.
The 2024 Sett d’Or winners
Culbuto Composteur
Culbuto won for its innovative Culbuto Composteur, a solar-powered rotating composter. Designed to be odor-proof and placed above ground, this composter autonomously transforms campsite organic waste into compost without attracting unwanted animals, automating a traditionally manual process.
Quantia Gecko
Quantia received the award for Gecko, the first miniature, intelligent, eco-friendly water heater that preheats water using shower greywater. This system offers energy savings, providing a sustainable solution for outdoor hospitality.
Habilev Habilev’
Habilev stood out with Habilev’, a hydromechanical device that can lift mobile homes up to two meters in case of flooding. Available in both manual and automatic versions, this system protects structures from flood damage, making it ideal for campsites in high-risk areas.
STME Fire Clever
STME Fire was awarded for Clever, a comprehensive fire automation system designed to effectively protect against outdoor fires and other specific risks for all building categories.
2YL Ecoludik
2YL won with Ecoludik, an interactive display for campsites designed to raise guest awareness of water and energy consumption in a fun, non-intrusive way. Installed in mobile homes, it shows real-time consumption, encouraging more responsible behavior.
A panel of experts celebrates innovation
The winners were selected by a jury of presidents from regional Hôtellerie de Plein Air federations and journalists from Décisions HPA. With these awards, the Sett d’Or reinforces its status as a major event showcasing the most innovative and sustainable solutions, offering new responses to the needs of a sector increasingly focused on digitalization, sustainability, and efficient resource management.
