The 49th edition of Hospitality – Il Salone dell’Accoglienza, for which Camping Business is a media partner, closed with a positive outcome, reaffirming its status as a key reference point for the hospitality and catering industry. The event, organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, attracted 20,000 professional visitors and over 750 exhibitors from all segments of the HoReCa sector. Outdoor hospitality also had its dedicated space, featuring a specialized pavilion and an arena packed with meetings.

These figures highlight the fair’s commitment to providing a comprehensive and high-quality offering for hospitality professionals, emphasized Roberto Pellegrini, President of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. “Notably, 26% of exhibitors were new companies, and the high level of satisfaction among businesses that returned to Riva del Garda this year to expand their operations is extremely positive. This indicates that Hospitality represents a valuable opportunity to connect with ideal partners and stay updated on the latest market trends. It confirms that we are on the right path and must continue investing and working towards an important milestone: the 50th edition”.

Focus on campsites and outdoor tourism

The dedicated outdoor pavilion hosted companies specializing in solutions for campsites, holiday villages, and open-air accommodation facilities. This area garnered significant interest, reflecting the positive trend in open-air tourism, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, accessibility, and eco-friendly design innovations.

The camping industry in Germany is experiencing strong growth, and the Hospitality fair is a valuable opportunity as it brings together entrepreneurs and companies offering interesting solutions for our market, said Frank Schaal, CEO of BVCD, the German Federal Association of the Camping Industry.I noticed a creative buzz and a strong focus on the quality of products and services offered, which is why I am convinced that the ideas and contacts gained here will significantly contribute to improving our offering”.

Over 100 events and a central role for FAITA Trentino

During the four-day fair, more than 100 meetings took place, featuring 160 prominent speakers. Notably, FAITA Trentino curated a rich program of events dedicated to sustainability, accessibility, and innovation in outdoor tourism, playing a crucial role in discussions about the future of hospitality.

The themes of accessibility and sustainability in tourism were at the heart of a panel discussion promoted by FAITA-FederCamping, FAITA Trentino, and Village for All – V4A. Meanwhile, Vittorio Dionisi, Founder and CEO of InsightUp, explored the importance of Data Intelligence in the outdoor hospitality sector. The role of Artificial Intelligence in marketing and tourism management was illustrated by Riccardo Viroli, CEO & Sales Director of Titanka! Additionally, the conference The economic value and local impact of the open-air system in Trentino brought together industry representatives and local administrators to analyze data and perspectives for the Autonomous Province. The final conference in FAITA Trentino’s program focused on accessibility, sustainability, and the design of mobile homes and beyond.

The next appointment: the 50th edition in 2026

Next year, Hospitality will celebrate a special milestone: its 50th edition, scheduled from February 2 to 5, 2026. “We are already working to make this edition an unmissable event,” stated Alessandra Albarelli, General Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. “We are confident that half a century of experience will allow us to raise the bar even higher in terms of quality and innovation”.
