Since 2012, BHI, the Italian subsidiary of Bio Habitat, has established itself as a key player in Italy’s open-air accommodation sector. Based in Castello d’Argile, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, the company has become a benchmark for the design and manufacture of mobile homes for campsites and holiday villages. Its production facility is capable of building the full range of BHI models — from the distinctive Coco Sweet, designed for glamping, to the spacious and elegant Key West line.

In 2024, BHI marked a major milestone: the production of its 10,000th mobile home. This achievement reflects the ongoing commitment and expertise of its 137-strong team, and underscores BHI’s ability to meet the evolving needs of campsite operators with efficiency and flexibility.

All BHI mobile homes are eco-designed, using low-impact materials, FSC-certified wood from responsibly managed forests, and fully recyclable components.
