European Camping Group (ECG) – which operates brands including Homair, Eurocamp and Roan – has announced a new phase of expansion, combining targeted campsite acquisitions, mainly along the southern French coast, with a significant enlargement of its European partner portfolio.

More specifically, the open-air hospitality specialist is continuing its external growth strategy with the acquisition of two campsites in the Occitanie region. The first is a long-established property founded in 1983: Camping Plage et Bord de Mer, a four-star site with 665 pitches located in Valras, in the Hérault département. The campsite covers 13 hectares and enjoys a prime seafront location directly on a sandy beach, offering a comprehensive range of high-quality facilities and services.

Further south, ECG has taken over the operation under a lease management agreement of Camping Le Sainte Marie, a four-star campsite with 300 pitches spread over four hectares in Sainte-Marie-la-Mer, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, just one kilometre from the sea.

Under the leadership of President Sébastien Manceau, the group has alto strengthened its presence in northern France with the lease management of Domaine du Logis, a five-star campsite covering 12 hectares with 298 pitches, located in La Chapelle-aux-Filtzméens (Ille-et-Vilaine). This move had already been announced previously. All three sites will be operated under the Homair brand from the 2026 season onwards.

Following these transactions, the number of campsites managed directly by European Camping Group rises to 117, including seven in Spain and two in the Netherlands.

Alongside its direct acquisitions, ECG continues to develop its tour operating business, expanding its portfolio with 13 new partner campsites across Europe. These include Camping Col d’Ibardin in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Domaine de Miremer in the Var, as well as new partner sites in Italy, Portugal, Belgium and the Netherlands. Depending on the destination and market, these campsites will be marketed through the Homair, Eurocamp and Roan brands.
