Sandaya updates its governance and executive committee to support future growth

The Sandaya camping group is evolving its governance and executive committee. These changes mark a new stage in the group’s development and strategy, while remaining fully in line with its history.

Co-founder of the Sandaya camping group, alongside François Georges in 2010, Xavier Guilbert is about to exercise his retirement rights and therefore steps down from his position as Chief Executive Officer. He will continue to support the group, chaired by François Georges, in his role as Senior Advisor on the Supervisory Board.

Jean-Yves Challies, 55, takes up the position of Chief Executive Officer after having served for nine years as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, with responsibility for sales, marketing and IT. Meanwhile, Cécile Williot, 53, has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer. She joined Sandaya in 2018 before holding the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of finance and human resources.

For his part, Jean-Marc Hoarau, 52, becomes Director of Sales, Marketing and Information Systems. Since last year, he had joined Sandaya’s teams as a project manager to lead the change of the PMS (Property Management System), a key step in the Group’s digital transformation in France and internationally.

Finally, Loïc Cerdan, 39, has been appointed General Secretary of Sandaya. In 2019, he joined the group as Group Human Resources Director, with the task of structuring the human resources function. Loïc Cerdan will oversee and coordinate human resources and legal affairs.

I wish Jean-Marc Hoarau and Loïc Cerdan every success in carrying out their new responsibilities. These changes and appointments mark a new stage in Sandaya’s growth, with a team that is both highly experienced and deeply rooted in the Group’s history”.
