After announcing the European winners of the second edition of its Awards, ACSI organized an event in Spain to reward the open-air accommodation facilities of the Iberian Peninsula. To the more than 100 awards assigned just over a couple of weeks ago, yesterday’s 14 Awards have been added. At the awards ceremony organized in Altea, in southern Spain, Camping Business also had the privilege of attending.
The ACSI Awards are a prestigious recognition that aims to highlight campsites that offer high quality services and facilities, guaranteeing an unforgettable experience for campers. These awards are testament to the campsites’ dedication and commitment to creating a quality, welcoming environment for their guests.
The winners are the result of the votes expressed by European campers in the last year. The Awards were divided into 10 categories:

- Greatest little campsite
- Nicest campsite for children
- Most dog-friendly campsite
- Best campsite swimming pool
- Best location for a campsite
- Most sports-loving campsite
- Best campsite restaurant
- Best motorhome pitches
- Campsite with the best toilet facilities
During the ceremony, 10 Spanish and 4 Portuguese campsites were recognized for their outstanding hospitality, modern facilities, state-of-the-art services and attention to detail. In just two years, the ACSI Awards have become a point of reference for campsites across Europe, offering valuable guidance for campers looking for a quality destination for their outdoor holidays.
