Caravan Salon will host the event “Motorhome Tourism 2.0: on the way to climate-neutral sites”

CIVD, ADAC and DTV are inviting representatives from local authorities and the tourism industry, as well as private investors, to the second Motor Caravan Pitch Day to be held during the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon. The event, entitled “Motorhome Tourism 2.0: On the way to climate-neutral sites” is scheduled for Monday, August 29.

This free event will take place in Hall 15 on the first floor of Hall 1, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, and will feature long-standing industry expert presentations on climate-neutral motorhome pitches, future-oriented technologies and practical solutions for recreational vehicles.

In Germany, there are nearly 4,700 recreational vehicle pitches out of the more than 71,000 available, which is not enough to keep up with the growing number of motorhomes and caravans on the road. Consequently, this is shifting the focus to pitches in less frequented destinations, offering more and more regions the opportunity to participate in the caravanning boom.
