Alberto Granzotto: the new president of Italian FAITA-FederCamping comes from Veneto

Alberto Granzotto is the new president of FAITA-FederCamping. The elections held yesterday indicated him as the successor of Maurizio Vianello, who has led the Federation in recent years.

The official announcement appeared yesterday on the Facebook page: “The election for the renewal of the federal bodies of Faita-FederCamping took place today in Rome. We thank the outgoing President Maurizio Vianello for the precious work done for the growth and promotion of the sector and at the service of companies. We greet the new National President Alberto Granzotto, former President of Faita Nord-Est and the new Vice-Presidents Ubaldo Fusco of Faita Lazio, Giampiero Poggiali of Faita Toscana, Fabio Poletti of Trentino Camping – Faita and Diego Ruggirello of Faita Sicilia”.

Alberto Granzotto, accountant, graduated in Economics and Commerce from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He has been the president of FAITA-Nord-Est since 2019, as well as a 3rd generation open-air entrepreneur, member of Confturismo Veneto and expert in tourism promotion. Today he manages the International Tourist Village of Bibione (VE), the Ca ‘Pasquali Village and the Vela Blu Camping Village, the latter two in Cavallino-Treporti (VE). Granzotto thanked the outgoing president Maurizio Vianello for the results achieved during his commitment at the helm of the Federation and presented his work program, with which he primarily intends to support companies in the path of exit from the pandemic crisis, relaunch the image of the sector, intensify the training of the entrepreneurial class, stimulate and support the birth of new companies and their growth and differentiation in terms of quality and product.

FAITA FederCamping represents and protects the interests and rights of open-air tourist accommodation companies (campsites and tourist villages). The Federation has been active and has been operating for more than 50 years by associating the majority of the 2,350 Italian companies in the sector through 18 regional associations.
