Croatian Aminess Hotels & Resorts is stepping up its investment in employee welfare. For 2026, the new agreement signed with the social partners provides for a significant strengthening of measures in favour of employees, helping to consolidate the company’s reputation as one of the most attractive employers in the country.

The plan includes an average salary increase of 6% for all staff, an expansion of the rewards and incentive system, and further investment in professional training. Among the new measures are seasonal bonuses to be paid from May to October, aimed at recognising employees’ commitment during the busiest months of the tourism season.

Alongside salary increases, Aminess is maintaining a comprehensive package of financial benefits. Employees will be entitled to a Christmas bonus of up to €600, an Easter bonus of at least €100 and a non-cash voucher worth €133. Particular attention is also being paid to families, which will benefit from a child allowance of €140 and a birth grant of 800.

The company is also taking action to improve working conditions by providing hot meals, higher reimbursements for transport expenses and an annual allowance for employees who do not use company accommodation. This measure has been further enhanced: the covered period has been extended from four to six months, for a total value of 390 per employee.

Up to €2,500 of additional income per year

Aminess Hotels & Resorts currently operates 33 accommodation facilities, including hotels, resorts and campsites, and employs more than 2,600 staff across 12 destinations between the coast and inland areas, among the most attractive in Croatia: in Istria, on the islands of Krk and Pag, in Opatija, Karlovac, Novi Vinodolski, Crikvenica and Makarska, on the islands of Korčula, Brač and Hvar, and on the Pelješac Peninsula.

Attention to working conditions has always been one of the fundamental pillars of the company’s development strategy. Thanks to this vision, Aminess has managed to maintain a high proportion of local labour: as many as 70% of its employees are Croatian citizens.

Overall, when salaries, bonuses and benefits are taken into account, the value of the additional benefits package can reach up to 2,500 per employee per year. This package demonstrates Aminess’s commitment not only to attracting new talent, but also to retaining its workforce and creating an increasingly stable and motivating working environment.

Alongside its welfare policies, Aminess continues to invest heavily in training, which it considers a strategic factor in ensuring high quality standards and supporting the professional development of its employees. In 2025, the company allocated 250,000 to training and skills development programmes, including AMI Learn, its internal platform that provides all employees with training pathways and opportunities for continuous professional growth.
