The Italian activities of Vacanze col Cuore have recently expanded with the inauguration of the new Lago Idro Glamping Boutique. The structure, known until 2006 as Campeggio Palafitte, is located on the shores of Lake Idro, in the pretty village of Anfo. The area is surrounded by greenery and is the ideal place to practice sports surrounded by nature and in the open air. The choice is wide: from kayaking to SUP, from windsurfing to paragliding, from cycling to trekking and much more. The campsite has lodge tents, cottages and pitches with a lake view, all in a unique atmosphere, where contact with nature is essential.
Lake Idro was formed in a valley that in the past represented the border between Italy and the Habsburg Empire, as well as a very important and ancient iron working area. Far from the most crowded tourist routes and from the traffic of the city, between Val Sabbia and Valle delle Giudicarie, this small lake offers very interesting views. The Lago Idro Glamping Boutique is a short walk from the lake.
Vacanze col Cuore is an independent group of glamping resorts, camping boutiques and residences located on Lake Garda, in Tuscany and for some time also in Holland. For the Vacanze col Cuore group, the best outdoor holiday is lived in a small environment with an intimate atmosphere, where the need for freedom, the desire for contact with nature and the desire for comfort find perfect harmony. The group has therefore decided to gather under its own brand only small-sized structures located in suggestive locations.
Today, Vacanze col Cuore manages 7 structures in Italy (Orlando in Chianti, Valicella, Weekend, Il Gabbiano, Vacanze and Sivinos) and one in Holland: the recently acquired Papillon.
