For the entertainment staff recruited for the 2026 season by Campings Maeva (68 campsites), Maeva School is organising an intensive and immersive week of training in partnership with L’Atelier Monreal, a training organisation specialising in entertainment. The programme will take place from 22 to 26 June at Camping Maeva Club Les Préveils, in La Tranche-sur-Mer, Vendée.

The objective is to train participants in the fundamentals of entertainment within the Maeva environment, including welcoming holidaymakers, microphone hosting, aperitif games, poolside activities, video content creation, social media, sound and lighting management, group management, customer relations, evening event preparation, staging, sports activities, choreography and team building. The aim is to professionalise entertainment roles, support seasonal staff in developing their skills, and ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience.

The training will be tailored according to the type of campsite where the entertainment staff will be assigned: Maeva Club, Maeva Escapade (local discovery) and Maeva Respire (nature and wellbeing). “Throughout the week, the entertainment staff will alternate between theoretical workshops and real-life practical exercises. The highlight of the week will be the preparation of a final evening event in front of the owners of the Maeva campsites in Vendée, who will come to meet their future entertainment teams in a real working environment, Maeva explained.

For the 2026 edition, Maeva School has chosen a symbolic venue: Camping Maeva Club Les Préveils, in La Tranche-sur-Mer, Vendée. It is the only non-profit campsite in France owned by the Pupilles de l’Enseignement Public. The campsite promotes a committed vision of tourism based on inclusion and living together.
