The prestigious event generates enormous interest among exhibitors every year, and this year too, “the bookings for the available halls are high, confirmed Director Stefan Koschke with satisfaction. Over 700 exhibitors are expected to provide a complete overview of the market, numerous world premieres, trending topics, innovations, and visions for the years to come.

The Düsseldorf Fair confirms its position as the main global meeting point for all industry operators, but it is also a fair for the end consumer who will find “such a variety of brands, models, and fittings that cannot be found in any other leisure fair,” as emphasized by Director Koschke.

Furthermore, there will be various side events and special exhibitions enriching the fair’s program. For example, visitors can watch spectacular films about outdoor and adventure activities during the European Outdoor Film Tour. In the outdoor space in front of Hall 15, the E-Bike Parcours will offer visitors the opportunity to test the driving characteristics of e-bikes, electric scooters, and eco-movers.

Targeted reception for new visitors

After the success of last year, which recorded a high percentage of first-time visitors, reaching 37%, the Düsseldorf Fair has made arrangements to welcome camping enthusiasts even better.

More and more people from all social classes and age groups are interested in this form of vacation,” explained Koschke. “For these newcomers, we have a service-oriented customer advisory center called StarterWelt/StarterWorld (Hall 7, North entrance)”. Here, experts will provide practical advice and recommendations on vehicle types, itineraries, or choosing the most suitable campsite. They will also be available to answer specific questions and provide individual help and assistance.

A special area dedicated to self-construction

In the outdoor space in front of Halls 13 and 14, visitors will discover the special area “Adventure Self-Construction” by “Explorer” (in collaboration with Martin Kreplin): a great success from last year that will return in the 2023 edition to allow beginners, experts, and professionals in conversion to consolidate or acquire new knowledge in various topics such as power supply and energy, workshop and material science, heating and kitchen, housing and carpentry, windows and doors, insulation, and layout planning.

There will be lessons and consultations, but visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase many of the necessary components for their respective conversions from accessory exhibitors located in the adjacent halls. This connection has been carefully planned and designed by the organizers to better meet the needs of the visitors.

Caravan Center

To accommodate the thousands of visitors, the Caravan Center (large parking lot P1) is preparing to become the largest campground in Europe, with 3,500 serviced and non-serviced pitches (with an estimated 60,000-70,000 overnight stays). To make the experience unique, there will be a large event and dining area, an evening music program, and a free shuttle bus to visit the historic center of Düsseldorf.
