With just a few days to go before the opening of Caravana 2026, the largest camping fair in the Northern Netherlands, the event will take place at the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden from 28 January to 1 February.
Over five days, the exhibition will showcase the latest developments in motorhomes, caravans, tents and accessories. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore campsites and destinations across Europe, as well as take part in workshops, demonstrations and interactive activities. The event brings together exhibitors from across the continent and a growing audience keen to discover new trends and technologies in outdoor hospitality.
The organisers of Caravana 2026 have prepared a rich and engaging programme, introducing two brand-new attractions: the Camping Route and the Caravana Treasure Hunt.
The Camping Route has been created in response to the increasing number of campsites from the Netherlands and abroad taking part in the fair each year, offering visitors a convenient way to explore a curated selection of destinations and gather inspiration for their next outdoor holiday.
The Caravana Treasure Hunt is a playful and interactive experience for visitors of all ages, taking place across the exhibition area and concluding with a small prize for participants.
Products, expert advice and live entertainment
Caravana 2026 will also feature a series of live presentations, including sessions organised by Cosse Camper Adventure, presenting campervan journeys in Norway and New Zealand. Visitors will be able to attend question-and-answer sessions with experts from CamperWorld XL, a campervan rental specialist operating in the Netherlands and abroad, with vehicles suitable for holders of a standard Category B driving licence.
At the Camp to Go stand, professionals will be available throughout the event to provide guidance and practical advice for both first-time campers and experienced travellers. For those interested in purchasing a nearly new vehicle, the Young Used Square in Hall 5 will offer a dedicated selection of motorhomes less than seven years old, with mileage ranging from 6,000 to 75,000 kilometres.
The event will also see the return of the Camp to Go Talks podcast, recorded live with the participation of Mister Camping, Sander Janson. In addition, Caravana 2026 will include activities for children, alongside entertainment such as Guido Spek’s CamperConcerts, combining music and cabaret throughout the event.
