Today, let’s talk a little bit about us. Camping Business is a magazine born in 2019 with the idea of proposing timely and up-to-date information to European professionals operating in the open-air world. We have come a long way since then, investing time and resources (economic and human) to be a useful tool for the entire sector.
The results have proved us right, and today our network of relationships, the amount of information material produced, and the number of events covered by our direct presence are unrivalled on the market.
We are proud of what we have built so far, having reaped in terms of turnover and reputation for what we have sown. And our efforts will not stop here, continuing to witness what is happening at major events across Europe and confirming our media partnerships with the industry’s leading trade fairs.
Effort, commitment, and unfair competition
All this has cost us (and continues to cost us) commitment and effort, two elements unknown to “others”, who believe they can compete unfairly with our work, bordering on the illegal. So, while we produce original content by sending highly experienced journalists into the field, “others” think they can solve their editorial coverage problem by clumsily copying and pasting (inevitable typos included) the fruit of our work.
All with minimal changes to the text, which only a child would not recognise as a pathetic attempt to disguise what to all intents and purposes amounts to theft of intellectual property. “Others” who remain deaf to our complaints, which we have obviously already made on other occasions to those who like to call themselves “publisher” without having the calibre to prove it, and who even underneath the plagiarism are not ashamed to insert the words “© Reproduction Reserved” and call themselves the “source” of the news.
We suggest to these ‘others’, who are so well known especially to those in the Italian beach world, that they show more seriousness towards their readers and advertisers.
We welcome competition, the serious kind, the kind that stimulates us to do better and better. For the other, we wait for time to prove us right. Because work and commitment always pay off in the end.
Because creating is better than copying. Although perhaps this second path is easier at the seaside… Sorry for our outburst.
