For the first time, Italian FAITA-Federcamping has decided to participate in the Salone del Camper in Parma, from 11 to 19 September, with an institutional stand. This is an initiative in line with the new course desired by the new president Alberto Granzotto, which marks the opening of new constructive relationships with the production and distribution of recreational vehicles sector.

On the occasion of the Parma event, Granzotto will participate in a conference organized by the Plein Airmagazine entitled “50 years of Plein Air: testimonies of the past and visions of the future“. Wednesday, September 15, at the Sala Agorà at 11 am, we will then talk about the evolution and changes in supply, demand, and tools – motorhome, caravans and accessories for the outdoors. It will be, as the invitation states, “a moment of reflection on the path – and on the common heritage of philosophy and technologies – developed by companies, organizations, associations, travelers over the course of half a century of caravanning; also, indeed above all, with a view to prefiguring new perspectives for the outdoor holiday sector in an expanded and inclusive vision“.

The Salone del Camper is “the place to be”

We congratulate FAITA-Federcamping, which will be present in Hall 4, stand C28, for choosing to participate in the Salone del Camper with an institutional stand. The good sales results of motorhomes in Italy and the extraordinary boom that has hit other European countries raise important questions about accommodation.

The sector is looking with increasing interest at rest areas as an ideal solution, but we think that campsites play a very important role and must be able to play a leading role in this changing scenario… The Salone del Camper is “the place to be”. Even more so since we have had confirmation that the Minister of Tourism, Massimo Garavaglia, will also be present for a debate with the sector.
