Sergio Gómez, president of the Provincial Association of Campsites in Alicante and owner of the Alannia tourist village chain, has been chosen to lead the Valencian Camping Federation. Gómez succeeds Pepe Frasquet, and his term will be for three years.
The new president’s objective will be to develop the Valencian camping sector through new forms of collaboration with institutions. The focus will be on consolidating the institutional recognition of the camping sector, continuing direct dialogue with administration officials, and defining specific plans for promoting and spreading the camping offer in the Valencian Community.
Achieving these objectives also involves a generational turnover within the federation’s board of directors.
