Last two days to present the nominations for the Trophies for Sustainable Development promoted in France by the Fédération Nationale de L’hôtellerie de Plein Air (FNHPA). Now in their second edition, these prizes are awarded to those open-air accommodation facilities that demonstrate a spirit of initiative in this area. Applications must be sent by August 31st. All campsites affiliated to the FNHPA can participate and the jury will reward initiatives related to one of the three components of sustainable development: social, economic and environmental.
In total, five prizes will be awarded, including a “super trophy” for those who best summarize all aspects of sustainable development and the “coup de coeur” trophy. Initiatives can focus on issues such as food, local roots, circular economy, waste management, conservation of biodiversity and natural resources, landscape and urban planning, mobility, energy production and management, innovative financing, skills and know-how, adaptation to climate change and resilience, tourism for all, responsible management of tourist flows, local tourism, sustainable work, sustainable partnerships (with suppliers), well-being at work and more.
For applications, simply complete the form that can be downloaded from here and send it to contact@fnhpa-pro.fr. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday October 12th during the National Congress of the FNHPA which will be held during the Atlantica fair in Niort.
