The Best Spanish Campsites will be awarded in Madrid on November 16th. The preparations are already underway for the 4th Gala of Spanish Campsites, an event organized by the Spanish Federation of Campsites (FEEC) that awards the most prestigious prizes in the industry at a national level.
There will be competition in 10 categories, such as the campsite that offers the best overall experience, thanks to complementary services like wine tourism or water tourism, or the category dedicated to family campsites, where those offering facilities dedicated to children’s entertainment, such as water parks, kids’ clubs, child-friendly toilets, farms, adventure parks, etc., will be evaluated. Another category will assess the restaurants, awarding the prize to the campsite with the best restaurant (taking into consideration their commitment to locally sourced cuisine).
After collecting the nominations (the deadline to participate was June 30th), the selection phase will begin to narrow down the number of candidates and identify the three finalists for each category, which will be announced in September. Finally, the concluding evening in Madrid in autumn will feature the award ceremony for the winning campsites.

- Campsite with the most unique accommodation
- Best camping experience
- Best campsite in a natural environment (evaluating not only the campsite itself but also the natural surroundings that contribute to its high tourist appeal)
- Best campsite restaurant
- Best year-round campsite (considering the range of services offered, particularly during the low season)
- Best family campsite
- Best beach campsite (located within 500 meters of the beach)
- Best mountain campsite
- Best inland campsite (evaluating the ability to showcase the connection with the rural environment in which it is located)
