In the first six months of 2025, the Valamar tourism group recorded strong growth results, with operating revenues up 17.5% and overnight stays increasing by 6.4% compared to the same period last year. This positive performance applies to both Croatian destinations along the Adriatic coast and those in Austria.
These first-half results reward the strategy of the Croatian hospitality operator, which continues to invest in enhancing its services and products, focusing on quality, sustainability, and long-term development. Valamar‘s growth was driven in particular by premium hotels and resort campgrounds, while the second half of the year also looks promising thanks to steady demand from key source markets.
Among the most significant new developments is the Arba Resort 4* of the Valamar Collection, inaugurated in June on the island of Rab, which will immediately contribute to the growth of Imperial Riviera, the joint venture between Valamar and the AZ pension fund. Work is also progressing on the Pical Resort 5*, considered the most ambitious project in Croatian tourism, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026. For the same year, Valamar plans total investments of €196 million, confirming its strategy geared towards growth and innovation.
