HolaCamp, the Iberian campsite chain currently operating 11 locations across Spain and Portugal, continues to expand and strengthen its position in the outdoor hospitality sector. The company has just secured a €21 million financing agreement with Banco Santander through its Smart Fund. This follows a previous €10 million capital increase in March, backed by Belgian investment firm AMAVI Capital.
This dual financial operation marks a pivotal step in HolaCamp’s growth strategy. The agreement with Banco Santander falls under the Smart Impulse program, designed to support high-potential companies with flexible, tailored growth solutions.
Legal and advisory support for the transaction was provided by JB Capital and the law firm Cuatrecasas. The financial backing further validates the strength of HolaCamp’s business model and its core values, which include environmental responsibility, technological innovation, and job creation. These values, shared with the Smart Fund, underpin the company’s ambition to solidify its standing as a next-generation camping brand, as noted by CEO and co-founder Alfonso Leprevost.
Co-founder Héctor Fina echoed this vision, highlighting how the new funding will allow HolaCamp to continue growing by integrating new campsites, while reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and digitalization to enhance customer experience.
Following the recent additions of HolaCamp Camino and HolaCamp Arán Aventura, a third campsite is set to join the chain, further boosting the brand’s footprint in the Spanish market. Looking ahead, HolaCamp is also exploring opportunities in other European countries such as France, Ireland, and the United Kingdom, markets that hold significant potential for continued expansion.
