The Hospitality Design Conference returns on 5 May 2026 at the Melià Milano, an international event dedicated to architecture and contract design in the hospitality sector, aimed at investors, hoteliers, hotel managers, entrepreneurs, builders and Italian and international designers.

The event, organised by the consulting and training company Teamwork Hospitality, has reached its third edition and will feature an intensive programme of seminars and discussion sessions, alongside a large exhibition area hosting more than 40 partner companies that are leaders in the furniture and contract sectors. An unmissable opportunity to discover innovative solutions dedicated to the design and refurbishment of hospitality properties.

Towards the era of liquid hospitality

At the centre of the 2026 edition of the Hospitality Design Conference is the future of hospitality, which is no longer identified solely with a physical place, but is becoming increasingly fluid. Today the boundaries between home, work and hospitality spaces are blending, hybrid lifestyles are emerging and the experience is becoming more important than simply staying overnight. Understanding these transformations – together with the role of artificial intelligence and experiential design – is essential in order to respond to the expectations of new travellers and urban nomads, who are increasingly looking for flexible and personalised experiences.

Inclusivity will also be one of the key themes of the event, with insights into design, services and experiences accessible to everyone, now considered a strategic asset for reaching new market segments and promoting truly global hospitality. There will also be space for neurodesign and emotional hospitality, approaches aimed at designing environments capable of promoting well-being, reducing stress and creating deeper multisensory engagement.

Among the new features for 2026 is also the launch of Platform B2B, a networking platform that will allow participants to connect even before the event, organise meetings and plan their presence during the Milan event more effectively.
