Hospitality represents the Italian reference fair for the Ho.Re.Ca. world, an appointment for operators in the sector interested in new solutions and products for their business, networking with possible suppliers, and keeping up to date through the Academy and the various training courses on offer. The exhibition space is divided into 4 theme areas covering the entire Ho.Re.Ca sector: Beverage, Contract & Wellness, Food & Equipment and Renovation & Tech. Alongside these, special areas dedicated to food and wine tourism with Solobirra, RPM-Riva Pianeta Mixology, and Winescape.

What’s new in the 47th edition
Over the last two years, open-air tourism has proved to be by far the liveliest and most responsive segment of the entire Italian hospitality industry. The results of the 2022 season saw an 8% growth, with demand exceeding 2019 levels with 10.7 million arrivals and over 73 million presences, confirming the great interest of an increasing number of tourists, especially the younger generations. This is why the next edition of Hospitality will be enriched with exclusive proposals and content dedicated to outdoor tourism, through the agreement signed with FAITA-FederCamping. Companies and suppliers from the outdoor world will be present and a dedicated Outdoor Boom area will be set up, where it will be possible to participate in a series of appointments on open-air hospitality with a focus on the lake and mountains. Alberto Granzotto, President of FAITA.FederCamping commented: “The collaboration with Hospitality will be important not only to present ideas and solutions, but also to allow exhibitors to improve the quality of services offered to customers, who are increasingly oriented towards an experiential ‘tailor-made’ but above all green travel”.
Directly related to outdoor holidays is also an itinerary dedicated to accessibility, in cooperation with Village for all – V4A, with a series of activities for the promotion, support and training of companies and professionals from the catering and hôtellerie sectors to better develop this very topical issue.
Training and networking at the fair
The Academy, realised in cooperation with the hotel management and consultancy company Teamwork, will offer a refresher programme during the 4 days of the fair, in addition to workshops, masterclasses, tastings, and cooking shows covering all Ho.Re.Ca. sectors. In addition to the Academy, there will be many spaces dedicated to events, with sector experts taking turns on the various stages animating the pavilions, especially dedicated to food and beverage.
The Buyer Programme, on the other hand, allows sector operators who register to join a group of selected buyers who will be able to enjoy a personalised visit to Riva del Garda and benefit from an organised experience at the fair.
An app for visiting
The official Hospitality Digital Space app allows both to organise one’s visit in advance and to maintain contact with exhibitors throughout the year, amplifying networking opportunities. “We are now at the 47th edition of the event and every year we want to offer exhibitors and visitors innovative solutions and tools to interpret Ho.Re.Ca. trends and remain competitive,” comments Giovanna Voltolini, Exhibition Manager at Hospitality. “This is demonstrated by the numbers which, just over a month from the inauguration date, see the presence of over 500 exhibitors with many confirmations and 30% of new companies that have chosen Riva del Garda to open up to the market and grow their network.”
