Campsites like awards, so ACSI is organizing its ACSI Awards for the first time

Awards, awards, awards. Evidently it is a strategy that works. So, for the first time, also the Dutch ACSI has organized an event of this type. “We are putting outstanding campsites in the spotlight,” says Ramon van Reine, CEO of ACSI. “Campers vote for their favourite campsites, and ACSI then shares these with millions of other European camping enthusiasts who are looking for an unforgettable holiday. At the same time, campsites can show their potential guests that they guarantee an unforgettable holiday”.

Voting for the ACSI Awards is open until March 20, while the awards ceremony will take place in April. “Different people want different things from a campsite. That’s why we have chosen different categories. One camper enjoys nature and tranquillity, the other wants as much entertainment as possible on the campsite. Campers can now vote in the category in which the campsite really excels,” says Van Reine. ACSI has therefore defined the following categories, accompanied by the related definitions:

• Greatest little campsite
  A small campsite (max. 50 touring pitches) where you can enjoy nature in peace.
• The best campsite for your dog
  A warm welcome for your four-legged friend, and plenty of amenities to give your dog a great holiday.
• Best campsite pool
  This pool is so great, you and your children would like to spend all day in it. Which campsite does your vote go to?
• Campsite with the best location
  This campsite is situated in the most amazing spot. On the water, near a great town or city, in the forest or the mountains. Wherever it is, the location is perfect in every way!
• Best cycling & walking campsite
  Wonderful walking and/or cycling near the campsite for hours of outdoor fun.
• Best campsite restaurant
  You want to eat at this restaurant every night. The food is delicious and the service is great.
• Best motorhome pitches
  This campsite has everything for you and your motorhome. The best spots and all amenities are within easy reach.
• Best campsite entertainment
  The entertainment team at this campsite is just fantastic. The kids have fun, so you do, too!

Each country represented will have one winner per category. “So we’ll know the greatest little campsite in France, but also in Croatia and Denmark,” Van Reine says. “Great inspiration for your upcoming camping holiday.”

ACSI has also provided prizes for those who vote: an e-4motion mini model folding electric bicycle worth € 860.33, 10 vouchers of € 50 that can be spent on Eurocampings-eu and 100 accesses to the ACSI Campeggi Europa app (info campsites + pitches for the campers) worth € 17.99.
