Adding to the French group’s portfolio, Sandaya introduces two new campsites located in the Var region (Southern France), near Fréjus. The two sites, formerly affiliated with Campings Maeva, have been acquired through a management contract and will undergo a total investment of €3 million to meet the group’s standards. The newly branded Sandaya campsites are L’Etoile d’Argens (in the opening photo) Camping La Barque.
The first is a 5-star campsite on the French Riviera, of considerable size (with 493 pitches, including 409 for rent), situated on a 16-hectare estate in the heart of the Natura 2000 area along the banks of the Argens River. The campsite’s pier allows for quick access to the sea and the beach via two river shuttles. It is a luxurious facility with high-end amenities and a strong focus on the environment through eco-responsible management.
On the other hand, Camping La Barque, located a short distance from L’Etoile d’Argens, is a 4-star campsite of smaller dimensions (with 147 pitches, including 59 for rent). It features access to the river and a water sports centerwhere visitors can rent a kayak or paddle to reach the beach directly via the Argens River.
