After Spain and Belgium, the French group Sandaya aims to strengthen its international expansion strategy. The latest operation involves the acquisition of 4 campsites in Italy, located one in Veneto and three in Tuscany. The Italian market is not entirely new to the French outdoor holiday group, as it was already present here with 9 campsitesthrough a commercial partnership with the Baia Holiday group.
However, with the acquisition of the four facilities, Sandaya strengthens its position: the campsites, previously owned by PGIM Real Estate, have a total of 1,700 pitches and generated a turnover of €27.5 million in 2023.
The campsites are: Europa Camping Village in Cavallino Treporti (Venice), International Camping Etruria in Marina di Castagneto (Livorno), Pianacce Camping Village in Castagneto Carducci (Livorno), and Toscana Bella Camping Village in Vada (Livorno).
Sandaya now owns 60 campsites, of which 53 are in France, 4 in Italy, 2 in Spain, and 1 in Belgium.
