Jackie Walorski, a representative of the United States Congress, and two members of his staff, Zachery Potts and Emma Thomson, died in a car accident. For outdoor tourism and the recreational vehicle industry, Walorski was a politician of paramount importance. Among the founding members of the RV Caucus, she has over time brought forward several requests and initiatives to promote the development of the sector. She was elected in the state of Indiana and she died at 58.
The US RV Industry Association wanted to publicly remember her with a special edition of its RV News & Insights newsletter entirely dedicated to her political commitment to this industry.
“The drive and enthusiasm Congresswoman Walorski had for the RV industry and the people of Indiana’s second district was unmatched,” said RV Industry Association Chair Jeff Rutherford. “There is no one who more consistently advocated on behalf of the RV industry in Congress and we as an industry are better off for it. This is truly a sad day for all who knew her, and we wish to express the heartfelt condolences of the entire RV industry to Jackie’s family and the families of Zachery and Emma during this incredibly difficult time.”

She has left an indelible mark on the RV industry, and we are very grateful for her service to her district and the country.”
