The search for new solutions for the outdoor world is part of Gio’ Stemar’s DNA, a company founded in Veneto in 1996 specializing in the production of umbrellas and structures with an exotic flavor. Gio’ Stemar‘s goal has always been to recreate intriguing atmospheres, reminiscent of distant places, always keeping an eye on the customer’s needs.
“Initially we started from a basic idea, that of making small umbrellas, and we had only one product from South Africa. In Italy that of ethnic furnishings was a world to be discovered, we can say that we were pioneers in this sector“, says Flavio Settin, owner of Gio’ Stemar.
Since then, the company has not stopped growing, and now supplies products ranging from dog kennels to entire tourist villages, including umbrellas, gazebos, chairs and tables, covers for kiosks, restaurants, and mobile homes. Always with the ability to customize the product. “We have a range that has nothing to envy to anyone, not only in Italy but in all Europe,” adds Settin.

Quality from all over the world
The strong point is represented by the first quality materials, coming from all over the world, which are used for roofing, and which can be natural (ecological and economical) or synthetic (equally elegant, but more resistant and fireproof). A few examples? They range from palm to eucalyptus, from bamboo to African cane, up to alang alang, a plant native to Southeast Asia.
“2021 was a record year for us. As for this year, it is still too early to take stock“, continues Flavio Settin. “The season is coming to an end, but if an important job for some camping happens next autumn, then we could approach, if not exceed, the numbers of 2021“.

But Gio’ Stemar does not rest on his laurels and is already looking to the future. The intention is to increase more and more the number of collaborations with campsites, in Italy but not only. “We are still evaluating what novelties to present at the next fairs we will participate in, namely the SUN in Rimini, a reference B2B event for the outdoor world, and the SETT in Montpellier, which represents another important event dedicated to the camping sector“.
“We have always worked with the beaches, while it is 3-4 years that we have also started to focus on campsites. We are receiving positive feedback from the latter and we are growing a lot in this market, and we want to specialize more and more. We will go to France for that too”, concludes Flavio Settin.
