Maeva becomes Maeva&Co: a new positioning to drive independent tourism in Europe

A new identity for Maeva, a subsidiary of the Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs group. The company is embarking on a major rebranding process and becomes Maeva&Co, marking the beginning of a new phase of development aimed at strengthening independent tourism on a European scale.

This evolution comes at a time of significant transformation for the group, characterised by recent acquisitions – including Parcel Tiny House and Camping Paradis – and a strategic reorganisation of its activities. Leading this repositioning is Nicolas Beaurain, Managing Director of Maeva&Co, who is aiming for a more authentic, local and sustainable tourism model. An approach that responds to the growing demand for immersive travel experiences, closer to destinations and communities.

An ecosystem built on four pillars

The Maeva&Co project is based on four complementary strategic areas, designed to provide independent operators with concrete tools for development.

Distribution – This is the core of the ecosystem. Through proprietary platforms such as maeva.com and Vacansoleil and a dedicated channel manager, Maeva&Co connects travellers with independent accommodation providers, expanding the offer of authentic stays across Europe: from campsites to holiday homes, from tourist residences to tiny houses. Not only intermediation, but also support in enhancing and structuring the offer.

Tourism real estate – With more than 40 agencies, the group operates in the management of seasonal rentals, property transactions and property administration in leisure destinations, mainly seaside and mountain locations.

Open-air franchising – With around 150 partner campsites, Maeva&Co positions itself as the leading franchisor in the outdoor hospitality sector in France. Three reference brands – Camping Paradis, Maeva and Ushuaïa Villages – through which it provides comprehensive support to operators: from marketing to training, from revenue management to ecological transition.

Agritourism and distributed hospitality – Thanks to Parcel Tiny House, Maeva&Co develops an innovative model of immersive stays on farms. An offer that combines experience, sustainability and the enhancement of rural areas, while at the same time generating new income opportunities for farmers.

More visibility and tools for independents

The strategy implemented by Nicolas Beaurain stems from a careful reflection on independent tourism, a large but still fragmented market that struggles to compete with major international operators. Maeva&Co positions itself as a facilitator, offering operators what they often lack: visibility, professional tools, access to new markets and structured development models.

At the same time, the group aims to preserve what makes this segment unique: authenticity, local roots and a diversity of experiences. At Maeva&Co, innovation and identity coexist, with the aim of building a more balanced and sustainable tourism model.
