From 26 to 28 June, the Karlsruhe Exhibition Centre will host New Housing 2026, the most important European event dedicated to the world of tiny houses and small-scale living, now in its seventh edition.
The event will offer a comprehensive overview of present and future housing solutions, showcasing the main innovations in a constantly evolving sector. Sustainable, minimalist, flexible and economically accessible, tiny houses today represent much more than a simple trend: they are a new way of conceiving living, increasingly focused on efficiency, quality of life and respect for the environment.
More than 80 exhibitors from different areas of the supply chain will take part in the New Housing 2026 edition, including design and construction professionals, manufacturers, suppliers of accessories and technologies, as well as companies operating in the fields of finance, insurance and territorial development. Visitors will also be able to discover around 30 tiny houses, modular homes and other innovative housing solutions, while engaging directly with companies and industry experts.
The new “Business Day” makes its debut
Alongside the exhibition area, New Housing also confirms its role as an important opportunity for professional discussion and networking, thanks to the presence of specialists who will share expertise, practical case studies and best practices linked to market developments.
This year’s main innovation will be the debut of the Business Day, scheduled for Friday 26 June alongside the Tiny House Festival. The initiative is aimed at investors, local authorities and tourism operators interested in exploring the economic and development opportunities connected to the tiny house sector. During the day, exclusive projects open to direct investment will be presented, together with new housing models dedicated to experiential and outdoor tourism.
For campsites, holiday villages and leisure parks, the Business Day will also represent a concrete opportunity to discover innovative concepts linked to nature-based hospitality, draw inspiration from successful case studies and explore new strategies for increasingly sustainable and experience-oriented tourism.
In the Italian “States General” of tourism in Rome, the absence of outdoor tourism stands out
