The Croatian Camping Association (KUH), in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, has organized two Open Days in campsites on May 6th and 14th, 2024, to promote professions and employment in the outdoor holiday tourism sector. The project took place last year in Istria, and the 2024 edition is also extended to the Kvarner region.
According to data, Istria and Primorje-Gorski Kotar counties together represent 71% of overnight stays in campsites in the Republic of Croatia. They are therefore the ideal area to promote interaction between vocational schools and the world of work, aiming to attract future workers in the tourism sector, whether they are students or job seekers.
Educational and professional camp tour
Specifically, the Open Day will offer participants an educational and professional tour of the campsite. The day will begin with introductory meetings to understand the organizational structure and individual departments of the campsite, job positions, and career development opportunities.
Subsequently, participants will be divided into small groups and guided by staff on the educational and professional tour, aiming to directly showcase all job positions, from reception to catering, animation, and more.
Finally, the individual visit will allow for direct contact with the human resources department. So, mark your calendars for Krk Premium Camping Resort (in the opening photo) on May 6th and Polari campsite on Tuesday, May 14th, after registering via email at info@camping.hr.
