Ready for Piscina & Wellness Barcelona, the premier European event for the swimming pool market. Taking place at the Gran Via venue in Barcelona from November 27th to 30th, this year’s edition boasts the highest participation in the last decade and a record-breaking international presence. Organized by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the Spanish swimming pool sector association ASOFAP, the trade show will showcase 360 companies, with a notable 68% international representation from 30 countries. These exhibitors will unveil cutting-edge solutions and technologies for swimming pools, wellness spaces, and environmentally conscious aquatic facilities.
Expanding its footprint by an impressive 54% compared to the 2021 edition, the event will occupy over 40,000 square meters across pavilions 1 and 2. Leading national and international companies will present products for residential and public pool use, along with installations, equipment, and accessories related to wellness, spa, fitness, and outdoor decoration.
Eloi Planes, President of the Organizing Committee and Executive President of Fluidra, emphasizes the industry’s focus on sustainability: “Currently the main vector of innovation in the swimming pool sector is sustainability, with proposals that minimize the consumption of water, energy, and chemical products. As an industry we want to showcase and highlight this innovation and commitment to sustainability as an effective tool for creating environmentally responsible infrastructures designed to have a positive impact on people’s individual and social wellbeing“.
Among the exhibitors there will be companies like Fluidra, Hayward, Fairland, Productos QP, Emaux, Aquavia Spa, Eurospas, PHNX, Superior Wellness, CGT Alkor, Fix a Leak, Action Park Waterscapes, ATH – BWT, Espa, Construcciones Condal, Rosa Gres, Grupo Baeza, Ercros, Renolit, Basecrete, Gresmanc, Iber Coverpool, Inffinitty, Superior Wellness, Hisom, K7 Rekker, Lifestylegarden, Lightpro and Visendum. At Piscina & Wellness Barcelona will be showcased innovations in pool construction, wellness-spa, liners, purification, and water treatment. In a sustainable twist, all exhibited swimming pools and spas will be filled with vitalized seawater, a green initiative supported by “Mas qué iniciativas,” with plans to collect and reuse the water after the event.
The Innovation Zone, highlighting sustainable and connected solutions, will be a focal point, with products eligible for the Piscina & Wellness Barcelona Awards. The sector’s innovative efforts span energy savings, water consumption reduction, digitalization, connectivity, architectural design, and creating immersive wellness experiences. Additionally, the event will host the inaugural Pool Horizons Summit, featuring discussions on the social and environmental impactof swimming pools globally.
Piscina & Wellness Barcelona is not just about products: it’s an immersive experience. The “Wellness Experience” will showcase the latest equipment, products, and solutions for wellness centers, while the “Outdoor Living Experience” will highlight furniture, accessories, and landscaping services for outdoor pool areas.
Education is also a key component, with conferences on landscaping paradigms, the impact of climate change on project design, and sustainability and digitization in swimming pools. The event will culminate in a gala dinner, hosting the Piscina & Wellness Barcelona Awards and the Wellness Experience Awards, recognizing the most sustainable and innovative products, spas, and thalassotherapy centers. The International Architecture Competition for Studentswill also add a touch of prestige to the evening.
