PiscinaSpain, the new technology fair dedicated to the world of pools, will take place in Málaga from October 8th to 10th. Hosted at the Málaga Trade Fair and Congress Center (FYCMA), the event will feature over 140 exhibiting companies and is expected to attract more than 7,000 industry professionals, including pool builders and installers, architectural firms, developers, hotels, and campsites. The fair will showcase the latest innovations in pools and spas, including equipment, components, and technological solutions aimed at improving energy and water efficiency.
Technology serving sustainability
From design and construction to maintenance, the pool industry will be at the heart of three days of exhibitions, where the latest innovations will be unveiled. At PiscinaSpain 2024, more than 300 innovations in pools, spas, energy efficiency, and water management technologies will be presented. These advancements are essential for supporting and advancing a sector that is thriving in Spain: despite restrictions in some areas due to drought, pool installations increased by 2.3% in the first half of 2024. The challenge now is to continue growing sustainably, with increasingly innovative technological solutions for smart water management.
The parallel events scheduled
The future of the sector will be addressed in more detail at the events held alongside PiscinaSpain. At the National Pool and Aquatech Congress, over 160 experts from around the world will gather to share visions, research, and insights that make the pool industry more sustainable and efficient. Discussions will cover success stories, new materials, emerging technologies, smart home systems, and digitalization that optimize facility management.
More than 80 presentations are planned, spread across three simultaneous auditoriums, each with a specific agenda for different professional profiles (architects, designers, developers, builders, manufacturers, engineers, installers, as well as CEOs and executives from sports clubs, water parks, public facilities, hotels, resorts, and campsites) and three industrial forums (Aquatech, Technology and Innovation, Spa & Wellness).
PiscinaSpain 2024 will also host the Aquatech Startup Forum, where the most innovative startups in the sector will present their solutions, and the Aquatech Innovation Awards 2024, which will recognize excellence in materials, components, home automation, and the design of exceptional installations.
