Revolution Compact: the outdoor automatic laundry kiosk

When on vacation, washing clothes in a motorhome, caravan, mobile home or tent is an almost impossible task. This is why most campsites have a specific room where some washing machines and possibly dryers are located. If the campsite is very large, however, it would be a great convenience to have one or more equipped kiosks that are easy to reach and equipped with professional appliances.

Revolution Laundry, which is the largest operator in the self-service laundries sector in Europe, and among the world leaders, creates precisely this type of facilities. In fact, it offers the outdoor Compact range, which includes high-efficiency washing machines and dryers with the possibility of different loads: all integrated in a box and installed inside a kiosk, like a shelter, suitable for being outdoors even in adverse weather conditions. The dimensions range from 3 square meters for the Compact S, with a 13 kilogram washing machine and an 18 kilogram dryer, up to 10 square meters for the Compact Box, which also features glass walls and three seats.

Among the most interesting proposals in the field of outdoor is the Revolution Compact system. This model integrates two washing machines, one for 9 and the other for 20 kilograms, and a 20 kilogram dryer, which allow you to wash and dry a large amount of clothing and even very bulky laundry, such as blankets and duvets. The times are more or less than half an hour for washing and the same for drying.

The Revolution Compact system needs 16 kilowatts to work and is equipped with solar panels and twilight to optimize energy consumption. In addition, the integrated pumps provide the right amount of detergent, softener, and disinfectant to avoid waste, as well as having the Ecolabel certification. For users, a service that via SMS alerts when the machines have reached the end of the washing or drying cycle is available, while the campsite manager can remotely control the operation of the kiosk via an app.

It doesn’t forget the attention to people with disabilities or reduced mobility. In fact, the doors and the control keypad are at a height that allows access and use even by those in a wheelchair.
