SETT 2021, the 42nd edition ready to go: here is all the practical information to participate

There are now only 10 days to go before the inauguration and it is therefore time to take stock of the SETT in Montpellier. What is the most important event in Europe dedicated to outdoor tourism, of which Camping Business is the media partner, will take place from November 2 to 4 at the Parc des Expositions. Expectations are very high, after the fair was canceled in 2020 due to the health emergency. The companies responded with enthusiasm, so much so that the organizer had to foresee an extra pavilion compared to what had been set up for last year: the event will thus develop over 9 pavilions, for a total area of ​​55,000 square meters.

Access to the 42nd edition of the SETT will be possible upon registration, and given the pandemic period not yet concluded, it is advisable to do so in advance by showing up at the entrances with your badge already printed. Masks and green passes will be required to enter the exhibition center. The opening hours are different according to the day:

• Tuesday, November 2^nd: from 10am to 7pm
• Wednesday, November 3^rd: from 9 to 19
• Thursday, November 4^th: from 9 to 17

Among the innovations planned for 2021 are the adoption of the dedicated EcoSETT logo which identifies exhibitors characterized by an eco-responsible approach, the creation of a kindergarten for children aged 4 and up available free of charge to parents who need to obtain time for the visit (the service must be booked in advance) and the first edition of the SETT Awards, which will award 7 campsites that are members of the Languedoc-Roussillon Federation in as many categories.

Instead, the SETT d’Or Award for innovation (here the list of nominations), the general assembly of the local Federation of Hôtellerie de Plein Air (HPA) and the traditional evening of the final party are confirmed. The event will be divided into thematic areas: Equipment, Horeca Equipment, Green Areas, Accommodation, Games & Hobbies, Swimming Pools & Wellness and Services & Communication. The SETT of Montepellier is organized by the HPA Federation of Languedoc-Roussillon in collaboration with 6 other regional federations (Midi-Pyrenees, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Corsica, Limousin, Burgundy Franche-Comté and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur).
