Camping specialist ACSI will also be presenting ACSI Awards in 2023. Since last September 15 and until January 15, campers from all over Europe can vote for their favorite campsites in 8 different categories. In mid-May 2023, it will be announced which campsites have won this coveted prize. In 2022, ACSI presented the ACSI Awards for the first time to put well-performing campsites in the spotlight. “We let campers determine which campsites deserved an ACSI Award which gives the award extra value,” says ACSI CEO Ramon van Reine. “There were 50,000 votes, and both campsites and campers responded very enthusiastically to our initiative”.
Ballot box open
From September 15 everyone can vote again for their favorite campsite of this season. Again, there are 8 different categories in which a campsite can excel, and a winner is chosen per country in each category. “This creates a very varied range of award-winning campsites and provides a lot of inspiration for future camping holidays,” explains Van Reine.
ACSI has chosen the following categories:
- Nicest campsite for children
- Most dog-friendly campsite
- Best campsite swimming pool
- Best location for a campsite
- Most sports-loving campsite
- Best campsite restaurant
- Best motorhome pitches
- Campsite with the best toilet facilities
Campers also win
In addition to campsites, campers also win prizes. ACSI will raffle more than a hundred prizes among all voters, including a week’s stay in a SunLodge at Camping Birkelt in Luxembourg.
