With unanimous vote from the members of the General Assembly, Ana Beriain has been re-elected as the president of the Spanish Federation of Campsite Entrepreneurs (FEEC). This marks the fourth consecutive term for the entrepreneur, which will lead her to guide FEEC until 2028.

The re-election rewards the work done over these years that has allowed the Spanish camping sector to achieve historic results, making Spain one of the preferred European destinations for outdoor holiday lovers. 2023 was a record-breaking year with over 47 million overnight stays and nearly 10 million travelers.

Ana Beriain is now called upon to continue on the path taken, and for this reason, she has set the primary objective of consolidating Spain’s positive image and the strategic role of the camping sector within the national economy. The commitment is therefore once again to represent the sector to the best of her ability in front of public stakeholders, institutions, and associations, further developing relations with the Ministry of Tourism and Turespaña. “Camping,” she declared immediately after re-election, “is now an immovable reality that will continue to grow and bring new satisfaction to our country“.

It is worth noting that Ana Beriain, in addition to being the president of FEEC, holds other important roles that define her as the most representative figure in the sector: she is also the president of the Navarra Camping Association, vice president of the Spanish Tourism Agency, president of the Hotel and Tourism Association of Navarra, a member of the Executive Committee of the Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodations (CEHAT), and a member of the Executive Committee of the Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodations (CEHE).
