TTG Travel Experience, now in its 60th edition, and InOut | The Contract Community, upon its debut, closed its doors with a 19% growth in professional attendance compared to 2022. This result underlines a constant growth trend in the international and Italian tourism market, even exceeding the pre-pandemic data of 2019. The two events, organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), have therefore confirmed themselves as the main B2B fairs of the tourism industry in Italy.

The debut of InOut, the new IEG format dedicated to the contract community, was welcomed with great favor by the market. This year Superfaces (dedicated to surfaces) and Greenscape (design of green spaces) have been added to the now traditional SIA Hospitality Design and SUN Beach&Outdoor Style. Furthermore, the B2B offer has been enriched with the swimming pool and wellness sector, which brings together 2,300 Italian companies for a total of over 15,000 employees and which in the last 10 years has recorded an average growth of more than 5%, jumping to +13% in the last two years.

TTG Travel Experience attracted 1,000 foreign buyers from 62 countries, demonstrating the international interest in Italy as a tourist destination. The foreign destinations represented were numerous, with a significant presence of countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, and France. In total, 55 international destinations participated in the event.

Tourism is the perfect sector for our country, because it redistributes wealth and value among medium-small businesses,” said the new president of IEG, Maurizio Ermeti, on the occasion of the opening ceremony. Event which saw the participation of the Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè, the vice president of the Senate Gian Marco Centinaio, the undersecretary for Culture Vittorio Sgarbi, the president of Federalberghi Bernabò Bocca, the mayor of Rimini Jamil Sadegholvaad, the councilor for Tourism of the Emilia-Romagna Region Andrea Corsini, the president of ENIT Ivana Jelinic, and the president of Global Sustainable Tourism Council Luigi Cabrini.

IEG’s ability to aggregate the professional community has made over 200 events available with more than 250 speakers hosted in the 9 Arenas. IEG has collaborated with numerous sector associations and institutions, starting with FAITA-FederCamping for the outdoor part, making the event a reference platform for the entire tourism industry. The next edition of the events is scheduled for October 9th to 11th, 2024.
