LeadingCampings of Europe, the association that currently includes 36 exclusive campsites distributed throughout Europe, has been organizing a training session for the staff of member campsites since 2009, before the start of the season. Until 2020, when there was the first lockdown and travel restrictions began, the training took place in a different LeadingCamping.
This year LeadingCampings has reorganized itself and decided to carry out online training. The session, which was held on April 22, saw a major increase in the number of participants. Of course, if there is no need to travel and get away for several days, more personnel can intervene. And, when campsites are closed, staff have more time to devote to training. It is therefore not a problem to hold intensive sessions of up to 3,5 hours using Zoom.
Corona, in addition to several things you can’t wait to get rid of, has also brought something that will remain: the LeadingCampings headquarters therefore decided to make staff training permanent and add a lasting online offer. What was born out of necessity during the pandemic will now be a permanent part of the training offer to staff: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, members can find out about everything related to LeadingCampings.
To this end, all relevant documents are now clearly sorted and available as an online database, along with four 30-minute video tutorials on very important specific topics. This collection of video tutorials will grow in the future and employees will be able to access them at any time after registration.
