A look at the Australian open-air market through the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow

Our Editor in Chief, Antonio Mazzucchelli, attended the 70th edition of the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow 2023 which was held from Wednesday February 22 to Sunday February 26 in Melbourne. The Melbourne fair was attended by almost 50,000 visitors, with 200 exhibiting companies including 75 manufacturers of recreational vehicles. In 2022 total of 28,031 recreational vehicles were produced. This is 4,100 units (17.1%) more than the previous year and 6,566 units (31.5%) more than in 2019. In addition, more than 20,000 products were imported to Australia in 2022. 93% of recreational vehicles are produced in the state of Victoria.
