What if we had to find an adjective to identify the mobile home of the future? The right word could be hyperconnected. At least, that’s what VPF thinks, an established Italian manufacturer of mobile homes, which at the beginning of last year unveiled its Futura line. Here, applied home automation becomes part of the user’s everyday life.
The beating heart of Futura is in fact represented by the Echo & Alexa integrated system which allows you to control all the devices in the home and access a series of features simply by voice. For example, you can adjust the lighting or air conditioning (both cooling and heating), or you can extend or close the outdoor veranda, or turn the induction cooker on or off. Not to mention the ability to monitor energy consumption, an important aspect for both customers and campsite managers that are attentive to sustainability. Alternatively, guests can control everything from the tablet in the large living room of the house. In short, the absolute protagonist is the so-called Internet of Things.
100% galvanized iron frame
In general, attention to detail is certainly part of the DNA of the Futura line. Each module is spread over an area of up to 34 square meters, with the possibility of assembling several modules. Their sturdiness is given by the 100% galvanized iron frame, with 18 mm phenolic plywood platform. The finishes are treated in detail. The interior design, modern and futuristic, is made elegant by the combination of the wood effect and furnishing elements characterized by a dark color.
