Across 15 halls and the outdoor area, visitors discovered the latest innovations in the sector: motorhomes and caravans of every category, roof-top and travel tents, technical components, specialized equipment, and a wide range of tourism offers. The appeal was huge: 269,000 <\/strong>visitors<\/strong> crowded the fair, more than a third of them for the first time.<\/p>\n

These numbers confirm the growth trend of a sector that continues to attract new audiences and expand its horizons. Particularly striking was the high level of purchase interest<\/strong>: according to a survey, almost 40% of visitors intend to buy a recreational vehicle<\/strong>. A result that, as emphasized by Marius Berlemann<\/strong>, Chief Operating Officer of Messe D\u00fcsseldorf<\/strong>, is even more significant considering the current challenging economic environment.<\/p>\n

A fair for all target audiences<\/h4>\n

The 2025 edition demonstrated how mobile tourism is able to engage diverse audiences, from newcomers to seasoned enthusiasts<\/strong>. First-timers found in the StarterWelt<\/strong> area an ideal point of orientation, while more experienced caravanners seized the opportunity to seriously evaluate new purchases. At the same time, Caravan Salon<\/a> also confirmed its role as the leading B2B platform in the industry<\/strong>: the \u201cDestination Future\u201d conference series provided professionals and tourist destinations with an exclusive opportunity for exchange, networking, and strategic planning for the future.<\/p>\n

The leadership of the Caravanning Industry Association<\/strong> (CIVD<\/a>), a long-standing partner of the trade fair, expressed great satisfaction with the outcome of this edition. President Bernd L<\/strong>\u00f6<\/strong>her<\/strong> reiterated that the D\u00fcsseldorf event has become a central reference point for outdoor tourism and holidays,<\/strong> thanks to the variety and richness of the offer presented.<\/p>\n

Managing Director Daniel Onggowinarso<\/strong> highlighted the strategic function of Caravan Salon, which goes far beyond a simple product showcase: a central platform for dialogue with institutions, politics, and other economic sectors<\/strong>, capable of promoting caravanning as a growth engine for tourism and the economy, including in lesser-known regions of Germany.<\/p>\n
