How are Italian campsites being organized in the Emilia Romagna region? Gianfranco Vitali, president of Faita Federcamping Emilia Romagna and owner of the Holiday Village Florenz, during an interview with the blog Vacanzelandia (www.vacanzelandia.com), explained that a safety protocol has been set and it will be approved in the coming days. The safety protocol created by Faita has the aim of preventing contagion as much as possible and allowing guests to live their holidays in maximum safety.

“We are seriously organizing our campsites because we want our customers to feel safe when they come to us – says Gianfranco Vitali – we will inform them before they arrive of what we are doing to make their holiday safe and I believe that this year good communication is indispensable for booking purposes. Customers must feel safe and our main concern this year is to safeguard the health of our customers. ”

The reopening, if all goes well and the line of contagion continues to decrease, it could take place on May 29, just at the beginning of the bridge on June 2, the right moment to inaugurate this strange season.

Here’s what the security protocol provides.

The check-in

Customers will be organized so as not to create gatherings and online check-in will be proposed. In reception, the rows will be managed as in the supermarket, therefore with access by one family at a time and spaced rows. Upon arrival, customers will all be provided with documentation that explains all the rules within the campsite and the services available.
Internal displacements.
Signs will be installed inside the campsites to instruct customers as much as possible on the use of all the facilities.

Use of masks

The masks must be used when moving within the common areas but not inside the pitches or mobile home or umbrellas at the beach.

Public toilets

A sort of one-way will be established in the use of public toilets and also of the washbasins. Washbasins will be closed alternately so that there are no neighbors. Naturally, sanitization will be intensified with products suitable for the purpose.

For catering

Meals will be delivered to the pitches and mobile homes. In many campsites, an APP will be made available to campers through which customers can book lunch or dinner at the restaurants of the structure. Those who want to eat at the restaurant will find spaced tables.

The animation

We are organizing an animation suitable for the distancing of people. A new animation, different from the past. The children will be divided into small groups in order to avoid gatherings, there will be baby dance and the playgrounds will be manned so that one game is used one child at a time with their parent.

The beach

The umbrellas will be spaced more than before, under the umbrellas the mask will not be needed and the bar will serve under the umbrella. Swimming in the sea can be done quietly but also in this case, in a spaced way.

The sport

The use of sports facilities will be allowed only for single sports, for example you can play tennis one on one. You can devote yourself to water sports such as wind surfing and canoeing. Also in this case the animation will be aimed at the single person.

The pool

The entrance to the swimming pool will be quota to keep the distance.

“This year we want to guarantee a safe service to customers and we don’t want to increase prices. The costs due to sanitation will be borne by us because we know that this year is a year of sacrifice for everyone” – said Vitali – “We also have special packages for those who decide to stay with us for long periods and work in smart working. With Faita Federcamping we are preparing prepaid vouchers that campsites will issue, discounted by 20% and valid for 2020 and 2021 ”
