20,000 professional visitors, an increase of 8% compared to last year. This is the excellent result obtained from the 48th edition of Hospitality – Il Salone dell’Accoglienza, in Riva del Garda, near Trento, Italy. The fair attracted professionals from all Italian regions and 15 other countries, confirming its leading role in the international panorama of the Ho.Re.Ca. sector. For the occasion, 861 exhibitors were brought together, which represents an increase of 35%compared to the 2023 edition. The presence of the outdoor world was also important, thanks to the Outdoor Boom Pavilion and the related arena enlivened by a series of Faita Federcamping events.
The atmosphere that pervaded the show was characterized by a mix of internationality, innovation, and vision. This year’s edition highlighted the importance of collaboration and exchange of ideas within the hospitality community. The wide participation and continuous turnout on every day confirmed the central role of Hospitality in promoting the growth and development of the sector.
“A result that confirms Hospitality’s leadership in the sector thanks to the strategic choices and the work done in the creation of this edition. We will continue to invest in the uniqueness of the exhibition offer, both in terms of product categories and types of companies present, and in consolidating our historic collaborations at a national and international level, in the interest of professional operators“, highlighted Roberto Pellegrini, President of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, organizer of the event.
The event, with its complete range of services and products, demonstrated its ability to respond to the needs and preferences of visitors, recording a significant participation of entrepreneurs from the catering, hotel and public sector industries, as well as operators from the extra- hotel sector.
Alessandra Albarelli, Managing Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, commented: “In each edition we try to offer a complete overview of all the latest trends in the sector, and amaze visitors with always new content, ideas, and concrete proposals for their business. This is demonstrated by the enthusiasm of the operators who visited the fair with the certainty of finding the right solution and the perfect partner for their business. An edition that involved a new and strongly purchasing-oriented audience“.
Among the novelties of this year, the start of the collaboration with Village for All – V4A and Lombardini22 for the Di Ognuno (Everyone’s) space, the area dedicated to accessible hospitality, which will continue in the next editions with the design of new spaces. “Di Ognuno allowed visitors and exhibitors to live an exciting immersive experience and to understand that enormous investments are not necessarily needed to make one’s facility accessible to everyone,” declared Giovanna Voltolini, Exhibition Manager of Hospitality. “It was gratifying to see the usefulness of creating a project on accessible tourism, confirming the role of the fair in giving ideas and concrete suggestions to operators who want to evolve their structures by responding to the needs of an important market segment”.
This year too, Hospitality with its Academy has dedicated ample space to training. Between workshops, educational, seminars, and experiential initiatives, the event was a stage full of multidisciplinary content which was sold out in the main stage, the Theatre, and in the 5 thematic arenas – Beer Arena, Outdoor Boom Arena, RPM Arena, Winescape Arena and the new Restaurant Arena.
The appointment with the 49th edition of Hospitality – Il Salone dell’Accoglienza is in Riva del Garda from 3 to 6 February 2025.
